Chinese New Year is the start of the New Year for the Chinese
community according to the lunar calendar. There are list of animals assigned
to each year, so 2014 is going to be the year of Horse... Lunar calendar is
based on the moon cycles, which has a strong influence to the Earth’s climate
systems. In fact, our ancestors have used the lunar cycles to determine the
patterns of the climate systems.
